Week 2 - Research Part 2
In the second week I went down to the East Midlands Airport where my Grandad works to to hopefully get some more photos of vehicles and get up close to help me with me with my texturing for my model. In the end I managed to collect photos from 7 different vehicles around the airport. For each vehicle I took around 30 - 40 photos on average. I did this to make sure I had clear shot of every part of the vehicle that I would choose from. Some of the vehicles were the same from last week from the ones my Grandad took for me, this time I manged to get 360 shots of all around the vehicle and get up close. Here are ech of the vehicles I found that day.
Vehicle 1
Vehicle 2
Vehicle 3
Vehicle 4
Vehicle 5
Vehicle 6
Finally Vehicle 7
After going through all the photos of each vehicle I decided to go with vehicle 7 in the end. I choose this as it looked different in colour to what other people in my class were doing (e.g. yellow) and looked interesting to make.

Week 1 - Collecting Research
In our first lesson back we were given the task of collecting our own research of construction vehicles, instead of just getting photos from the Internet.
I managed to grab a few photos from my Granddad who works at East Midlands airport. Sadly they are photos of one side of the vehicle and there is no more variety, which is something I need being that I'm modelling the whole vehicle in Maya. This was my mistake with not making it clear to him.
Here are a few of the photos I received:

My task for next week is to go out, look and find some more construction vehicles and get a lot more various photos of each vehicle (back, side, front and up close).
